Job Duties

• Assist qualified teachers in delivering lessons
• Support students with their learning activities
• Help maintain a positive learning environment
• Supervise students during break times
• Assist in preparing teaching materials
  
  

Required Qualifications

No formal teaching qualifications required

Education

GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths

Experience

Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is needed

Knowledge And Skills

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Patience and understanding towards students
• Basic knowledge of educational principles
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching Assistant qualification, higher level teaching assistant qualification or relevant experience

Working Conditions

This role involves working with children and may require standing for extended periods. The work is based in a school setting with set hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
