EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW 

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as a Finance Performance Analyst. The role will report into the Finance Business Partner and you will be responsible for leading on reporting of opex and capital spend across Developer Services. As a Financial Performance Analyst you will also deliver insight and help drive improvement in Developer Services reporting and budgeting and controls and enable improved performance. This will include providing robust, insightful and balanced views across regulatory, performance and financial objectives.

In this role you will work with a variety of stakeholders to improve understanding of spend and own the analysis of financials against budget and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Run month end close ensuring accurate and credible data is recorded and reported each month.
  • Own monthly Opex and capital reporting ensuring actual costs and forecasts in Tagetik are accurate and complete.
  • Own the monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation process ensuring the required level of quality
  • Own the forecast, budget and business plan processes ensuring plans are complete and realistic.
  • Own the analysis of financials against budget and forecast
  • Provide financial support to the department, balancing short term needs with the longer-term strategic priorities of the department.
  • Support Developer Services business leads and managers to help them better understand their financial data and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation of team processes and controls.

What You’ll Bring To The Role 



To Be Considered For This Role, You’ll Need

  • Financial qualification in ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
  • Analysing financial information for variances and investigating any abnormalities that arise.
  • Demonstrable track record of taking the lead in diagnosing business issues and delivering performance improvements.
  • Working collaboratively across departments to deliver a successful outcome.

In addition, you should have the ability to articulate a position and make recommendations which will enable leadership teams to make strategic decisions based on reliable and accurate information. Having the ability to build strong and credible working relationships across the organisation is a must. You should be adept at influencing both at a senior level and being able to guide and constructively challenge when required.
