We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our IT team in Mohali. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our company's IT infrastructure. As a System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain servers, networks, and IT systems.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components.
Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality.
Implement and manage security measures to protect data and systems.
Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
Provide technical support to end-users and resolve issues promptly.
Perform routine backups and ensure data integrity.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience of minimum 2 years or above as a System Administrator or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Experience with network protocols, security protocols, and firewalls.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to work night shifts (Monday to Friday).
Ability to work independently.
Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
