Social Studies and Panther Academy Teacher at Kirkland Middle School (0.8 FTE)

Kirkland Middle School (Lake Washington Learning Community) is looking for qualified Middle School Social Studies and Panther Academy Teacher - 0.8 FTE candidates for a position for the 2024-2025 school year. This position includes 2 Social Studies classes, including one which receives push-in ML support and 2 Panther Academy classes. The candidate selected for this position must also be able to teach English and Social Studies as teachers in our LA/SS Department often teach both subjects.

Qualifications

Washington State teaching certificate with mid-level Humanities, or English Language Arts & Social Studies endorsement (must have both endorsements).

Salary

Paid per teacher salary schedule with Base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days, and Responsibility. Additional Technology stipend and Professional Fund. See LWEA salary schedule posted on website. Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.
