An orthopedic medical device company is hiring a Shared Accounting Services Manager. Reporting to the global Controller (who reports to the CFO), you will lead the Accounts Payable and Payroll functions with a total team of 5 across two sites in Portland, OR and Dallas, TX. The Shared Accounting Services Manager will also manage accruals and general accounting month-end close processes pertaining to these functions including certain accounting entries.
This is a hybrid position (based in either Dallas, TX or Portland, OR) with flexibility to work from home a couple of days per week most weeks. After initial on-boarding period, travel between the two sites will be approximately 1-3 times / year.
Ideal candidates will have strong Accounts Payable experience in roles of increasing scope and responsibility at two or more different companies. Additional qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA preferred.
• 10 years business leadership experience managing teams of 3 or more.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable required, and Payroll preferred but not required. Working knowledge of SAP strongly preferred.
• Public manufacturing company experience strongly preferred.
• Strong continuous improvement mindset with experience managing large company-wide changes.
