We are currently seeking an Account Executive to work with our apparel client in NYC on their contemporary business. This position is responsible for executing sales strategy, initiating and maintaining contact with existing and potential customers, and maximizing wholesale shipments with these customers.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Develop effective strategic relationships with retail partners and provide a high level of customer service through collaboration and continuous communication.
Lead regular business meetings with partners; compile feedback from partners to provide insights to sales team
Implement regional business development strategy and proactively seek new opportunities to support the expansion of retail distribution
Analyze reports and set KPI targets to proactively identify opportunities to maximize business growth
Take ownership to ensure that booking and profitability targets are achieved
Challenge stock levels and work closely with Planning on replenishment
Collaborate with Planning on OTB forecasts and deliver against targeted sales plans
Prepare seasonal hindsight data analyses and build assortments to maximize product/division opportunities
Lead market appointments and confidently present brand product strategies
Order book management in collaboration with Customer Service
Partner with cross functional teams to proactively address and resolve any shipping and finance issues and ensure that all directives and standards are executed
Ensure partners are supported with brand and product knowledge training to ensure consistency across all doors
Maintain extensive knowledge and understanding of competitors’ strategies

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
5 years of experience
Interpersonal interactions such as coaching, negotiating, selling, and making group presentations
Ability to perform complex verbal and written communications face to face and in group settings
Ability to run an open to buy
Proficiency in Excel and Retail Math
Salary $125,000-150,000
