Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Manufacturing Manager to join our team. We are at the beginning of a multi-plant rollout using a Global Template. As the SAP Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for building/managing a team to ensuring the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions within our plants that meet our current and future needs. You and your team will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, project managers, technical teams, master data governance and the performance improvement team to ensure successful delivery of end-to-end Manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in SAP manufacturing modules and their components (MRP; EWM; MPS; Batch Management; PP-PI) excellent leadership skills, strong communication skills and first-hand experience of warehouse management processes.

Essential Duties Responsibilities

  • Build/Manage a team of SAP professionals focused on SAP Manufacturing.
  • Provide both SAP and industry Manufacturing expertise to support the end-to-end SAP implementation projects, ensuring successful delivery within timeline constraints.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their warehouse management requirements and translate them into functional specifications for solutions. Compare these requirements to the Global Template and determine differences.
  • Design and configure SAP system according to business needs, including warehouse structure, master data, and integration with other SAP modules.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to the development team in building custom enhancements and interfaces to optimize functionality within the warehouse.
  • Assist the testing lead in testing activities, including test script creation, unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure high-quality and thoroughly tested solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP and industry trends, best practices, and industry standards to recommend continuous improvements and innovations.
  • Collaborate with other SAP functional leads to ensure seamless integration between other modules and systems, such as Materials Management, Order to Cash, General Ledger, Costing and Quality

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience (8 years) in implementing and supporting SAP Manufacturing solutions, including full lifecycle project experience.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with other supply chain management systems is highly desirable.
  • SAP S4 HANA certification is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical and functional issues.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholder
