As a Regional Safety Manager you will manage safety compliance and training for an assigned area.

Additional Responsibilities

Manage accident reporting and investigation for region

Conduct training and education classes for drivers and other employees

Implement corrective action to minimize causes of loss

Ensures compliance with company procedures, DOT, OSHA, and RCRA

Provide training and resources to terminal on accident investigations and behavioral based safety techniques

Facilitates and delivers corporate-initiated training programs

Preferred Qualifications

Safety Experience

Claims/OSD Experience

College degree

Knowledge of DOT regulations

Knowledge of OSHA regulations

Knowledge of RCRA regulations

CDL license helpful

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Up to 70% travel required
