Shriners Children’s Lexington has an opportunity for a Patient Access Supervisor to join our team.
The Patient Access Supervisor will be responsible for analyzing and overseeing all Patient Access functions. The Supervisor will perform QA of all Patient Access functions on a consistent basis. The Supervisor will utilize reports to analyze registration output and compile recommendations for improvement. The Supervisor will provide continuous training for quality improvement. The Supervisor will stay abreast of all State, Federal and Managed Care regulations as they pertain to Patient Access. The Supervisor will also communicate appropriate changes that need to occur due to these regulations.
Monday - Friday, closed weekends and major holidays. Holidays observed New Year, Martin Luther King, Memorial, Independence, Labor, Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas Eve, and Christmas day.
Parking is paid by Shriners, no cost to the employee.
Oversight of day-to-day activities of the Patient Access dept.
Ensure QA on registrations for all areas of Patient Access.
Maintain and analyze QA statistics and reports.
Monitor work productivity of Patient Access staff for accuracy and timeliness.
Provide input to Revenue Cycle Manager and participate in hiring, terminating and performance evaluations of Patient Access staff.
