Job Title: Incoming Materials Quality Inspector

Location: Bothell, MA 98021

Duration: 06 Months

Contract Type: Onsite

Payrate: $26 Per hour

Objective

The primary responsibility of the Incoming Materials Quality Inspector is to meticulously examine incoming materials and products in accordance with specifications and inspection instructions provided by the customer, and supplier.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming inspections on preproduction materials promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with minimum lot requirements on a weekly basis.
• Efficiently transact materials in the ERP system as per training protocols and appropriately disposition to Material Review Board (MBR) when necessary.
• Provide valuable inputs for process improvement to enhance inspection accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicate quality findings and issues promptly to buyers, quality leadership, and manufacturing teams.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in metrology and finished product inspection or related experience and/or training.
• High-level assembly experience can be considered as a substitute for finished product inspection experience.
• High school diploma required
• Associate degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory
• Possess experience in quality inspection and record-keeping.
• Demonstrate proficiency in computer and system applications, ensuring efficient and accurate transaction of information on inspected materials/lots.
• Competent in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge or experience in manufacturing processes is advantageous.
