FULL DESCRIPTION: Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Head of Preclinical Pharmacology to lead our pharmacology teams in Boston and Beijing. This pivotal role involves overseeing all pharmacology operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring alignment of preclinical activities with our corporate objectives.

The Selected Candidate Will Be Responsible For

• Lead and manage the preclinical pharmacology teams located in Boston and Beijing, ensuring effective collaboration and high performance across both sites.
• Develop and implement global strategies for preclinical research, aligning them with the company's goals and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the design, execution, and analysis of pharmacology studies, ensuring they are conducted efficiently, comply with regulatory standards, and meet client expectations.
• Serve as a key liaison between the company and clients, communicating project progress and addressing any issues that arise.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the team by incorporating advanced technologies and methodologies in preclinical research.
• Manage budgets, resources, and timelines across multiple projects, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization.
• Ensure the professional growth and development of team members through mentoring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Travel frequently between Boston and Beijing to oversee operations and maintain seamless integration of the teams.
  
  

The Selected Candidate Will Also Possess

• Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Immunology, Pharmacology, Toxicology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in preclinical pharmacology within a CRO or pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of leading international teams and managing cross-functional projects.
• Strong understanding of the drug development process, including regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.
  
  

Salary Range: $170k-$220k/yr
