Our Avondale Dealerships Experiential Marketing Specialists supports the Communication and Experiential Marketing Director in the development and implementation of marketing and communication activities which include dealership events, community impact initiatives, strategic partnerships, manufacturer compliance submission, marketing communications initiatives, and other projects as needed. This position will adapt and evolve to support several elements of operations and the marketing activities associated.

Event Production Management and Support

  • Manages Marketing Events to include overseeing pre-event, during, and after management of vendor arrivals, attendee registration, and set up and tear down that aligns with brand expectations and event plan.
  • Manages and executes event activations including hosting and coordinating during onsite and offsite events.
  • Captures photo and video content at events per event plan and works in collaboration with Digital Marketing for the creation and deployment of content.
  • Inspects and maintains event kits and coordinates the distribution and collection of event kits pre and post events.
  • Partners directly with General Managers, Sales Directors, and Porters to ensure proper vehicle display and member support of events and community sponsorships.
  • Produces pre-event communications and evaluates event success in partnership with Director and develops a continuous improvement plan for future events.
  • Manages event and community engagement progress and measurables.


Communications & Sponsorships

  • Produces and deploys event marketing materials like invitations, pre and post email communications, event signage, etc. using Canva, In Design through other platforms i.e., Momentum, CRM, Volie, and similar.
  • Manages the relationships and print production timelines of vendor partners that produce materials per brand guidelines.
  • Creates and implements marketing strategies to include but not limited to events and sponsorships.
  • Manages communications to questions regarding marketing activities and initiatives.
  • Manages communications to partner, vendor and guest inquiries and, identifies issues and resolves problems or refers to supervisor as appropriate.
  • Evaluates initial sponsorship requests and communicates response.
  • Communicates event project management on integrated platforms.


Marketing Co-Op and Compliance

  • Partners with the Experiential Director to manage the manufacturer co-op compliance requirements. Will oversee OEM Compliance preapprovals, post event data to manufacturer specifications and on deadline.
  • Analyzes event contracts in partnership with Director.


Marketing Department Administration

  • Works collaboratively with internal and external clients.
  • Ensures that marketing event details and materials align with the brand strategy and messaging.
  • Oversees and remains within event budget and guidelines.
  • Provides project management with department and teams to produce and distribute physical marketing collateral to include signs, brochures, print materials, etc.
  • Collects, reconciles, and codes marketing expenses and vendor invoices and submits to accounting for review.


Other

  • Proficient in design tools and applications such as Canva, InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Independently organizes work, set priorities, meets deadlines, and follows up on assignments.
  • Performs work in an efficient, effective, safe, and timely manner.
  • Maintains accurate records and reports.
  • Responds appropriately to changing situations.
  • Demonstrates strong client service skills and establishes, maintains, and fosters positive and effective working relationships.

  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends at events.


EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in related field from four-year College or university; and or Minimum 1-3 -years’ related experience and/or training in e-commerce, social media, digital marketing and user experience.
