A property and casualty client is seeking a Chief Claims Officer to develop a forward-thinking claims organization aligned with the enterprise’s future objectives. Responsibilities
Develop and communicate a vision for the claims organization that aligns with the company’s overall mission.
Focus on building lasting customer relationships, ensuring claims are handled promptly, fairly and ethically, while acknowledging that the insureds are the owners.
Identify and leverage strategic opportunities for process improvement through people, procedures and technologies, supporting departmental, company and enterprise goals.
Oversee day-to-day operations, direct reports, systems and projects.
Track, assess and enhance data analytics to improve claims processing, quality and service levels.
Establish and promote career pathing for all levels within the department to support succession planning and meet organizational goals.
Coach and develop employees to enhance engagement, retention and morale.
Foster collaboration across the enterprise to enhance stakeholder engagement, problem-solving and idea generation.
Develop the management team and promote a culture of accountability and achievement through coaching, training, and contribution to departmental and enterprise strategic initiatives.
