People & Culture is what we call our Human Resources team. We are teammates who have the skills to serve the organization with a people first mentality through consistent follow-up, follow-through, and attention to detail. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Benefits & Compensation Analyst to join our team! The Analyst will operate as the primary contact for tactical benefits matters from our team members across the organization and will also focus on executing standardized compensation administration processes. The ideal candidate is an existing Total Rewards practitioner with a comprehensive background in facilitating employee benefits programs, and in-depth analytical skills with an understanding of standard compensation principles and practices. Others with extensive analytical experience in areas such as payroll or accounting who are looking to make a career pivot may also find success in this position.

What You Will Do

  • Process administrative, training, and analytical tasks related to team members benefits programs, including:
    • Educating individual and groups of team members on benefits program offerings and eligibility criteria
    • Enrollments during new hire, open enrollment, and qualifying life event instances
    • Terminations and COBRA processing due to separation or change in eligibility status.
    • Coordination with team members to obtain dependent verification documents.
    • Submit and respond to claims involving Worker’s Compensation, Disability, and Leave programs.
  • Collaboration with internal & external stakeholders on data integrity initiatives, including:
    • Ensure accurate entry and communication of benefits deductions in HRIS system for weekly Payroll processing.
    • Conduct weekly invoice reconciliation & approval with Accounting department to ensure insurance carrier payments are made on a timely basis each month.
    • Calculating and submitting funding to brokers or financial institutions for numerous health and retirement benefits each week.
    • Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly activities related to eligibility reports & enrollments for multiple retirement plans.
    • Contributing to periodic internal audit activities through report generation and review.
  • Tracking and reporting for all periodic Total Rewards metrics with pass-through to Executive leadership presentations.
  • Support the organization’s Compensation Administration initiatives, including:
    • Monitoring, reporting, and implementation of part-time team members wage adjustments.
    • Conducting compensation analysis to generate candidate offers for Talent Acquisition team.
    • Preparation of documentation around annual merit / bonus cycles.
  • Deliver benefits presentations to large groups during new hire onboarding and open enrollment sessions for team members
What We Need From Our Analyst

  • Demonstrated skill in Business Acumen to connect tasks and process with program strategy.
  • Strict adherence to confidentiality and fundamental business reporting relationships.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Total Rewards policies, practices, and procedures, including legal compliance requirements
  • Must be extremely accurate in data submissions, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of data reporting principles, including generation, review, & analysis.
  • Advanced skills with Excel to build and enhance reporting spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge proficiency in other standard business software products including Word, Outlook, Adobe, and Slack.
  • Ability to learn new and existing internal systems, including UKG Pro and Monday.com
  • Skill with interactions involving all levels of leadership and staff, along with outside clients, partners, and vendors.
  • Ability to work in a busy team environment while effectively completing independent assignments
  • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance

Experience/ Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or HR certification preferred
  • 3-5 years direct benefits administration experience.
  • 2 years in facilitating Leave programs preferred.
  • 2 years of experience with compensation administration preferred.

  • This role requires daily, in-person presence at the organization’s facilities, primarily the headquarters building. Occasional on-site work at the arena, practice facility, or unaffiliated outside locations may be required.
    • The organization does offer a limited workplace flexibility program, but remote-first or hybrid schedule arrangements are not conducive to supporting our teammates in the execution of live entertainment events.
  • Ability to adapt to occasional monthly variations in schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate based on the event calendar.
  • Ability to transit throughout the arena and HQ for extended periods of time.
  • This position works indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is
  • S-Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
  • Must be able to execute a conversation both on the phone and in-person, with internal and external stakeholders varying from individual contributor to executive-level.
