Our effective education services are central to ensuring children and young people have the best opportunity to thrive in supportive, well run and safe settings that can meet the needs of every child. We have a large number of schools across the county and we need a leader who can work across organisational boundaries and structures, who will support our positive working relationship with schools in offering effective improvement services and continue to lead strategic change across the whole estate. We have an ambitious SEND and inclusion strategy that aims to support all children and young people across a wide range of needs. We have a large traded services function, therefore we need a new Director who can operate commercially as well as strategically, but most importantly is the need to bring a desire to ensure all children and young people are given the best opportunity to thrive.
