Salary: £60k - £80k

Revolutionize 3D Printing with Ultra-High Viscosity Jetting

Are you passionate about pushing the boundaries of inkjet technology?

Join this leading company's printhead team and play a pivotal role in unlocking new frontiers in additive manufacturing.

As a Printhead Jetting/Waveform Development Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge efforts to enable 3D printing of ultra-high viscosity functional materials. Through rigorous scientific experimentation and innovative thinking, you'll master the proprietary piezo printhead technology to jet an expansive range of viscous fluids with unprecedented control and reliability.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Design and execute experiments to characterize printhead prototypes
  • Develop waveforms and operating parameters to optimize jetting performance
  • Collaborate with our materials team to broaden the scope of printable materials
  • Devise test plans to enhance printhead capabilities aligned with our roadmap
  • Build a robust knowledge base through meticulous documentation
  • Troubleshoot any field issues related to printhead quality and reliability

To qualify, you'll need a degree in physical sciences, engineering, or equivalent, combined with direct experience in inkjet printing technology - ideally in a similar jetting/waveform role. You must possess deep expertise in piezo inkjet physics, fluid mechanics, analytical problem-solving, and hands-on experimentation skills.

But what truly sets you apart is your innovative mindset to find elegant solutions to complex multi-physics challenges. You think outside the box, yet maintain a structured approach to testing and knowledge sharing. With excellent communication abilities, you'll seamlessly collaborate across our multidisciplinary teams.

If unlocking the potential of functional 3D printing through disruptive inkjet innovations excites you, then apply now.
