This means that your role is crucial in driving process improvement, enhancing reporting systems, and optimizing business performance. In collaboration with the Finance Partner, you will be working closely with both their blender finance and supply chain finance teams, addressing a broad spectrum of finance and operations issues in a startup-like environment. Your role allows for a significant impact on Innocent's operations and strategy, making you an indispensable part of their business strategy. Tasks and responsibilities:

• Perform month and year-end closing procedures;
• Review and analyze financial data and translate this for stakeholders to understand them;
• Perform periodic reconciliations of the balance sheet to ensure integrity of financials;
• Support in yearly audit-cycle;
• Engage in cross functional improvement projects;
• Identify and implement processes, controls and system improvements;
• Managing and building on all relevant reporting to get this to a high-quality standard;
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with the broader innocent/blender teams;
• Provide clear inputs for financial decisions and trade-offs and challenge as appropriate in the spirit of values;
• Be effective backup for other finance experts during holiday periods;
• Be responsible for monitoring and improving insights from the mass balance;
• Managing and steer on the PR/PO/GR process, including implementation of overall improvements;
• Be the specialist to link operational performance to financial results, with detailed knowledge on blender operations;
• Support the team to ensure good improvement ideas turn in to reality.

Education and personal skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, WO thinking level;
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a financial position;
• An inquisitive mind with an ability to investigate and solve problems independently;
• Amazing data analysis skills with great attention to detail;
• Ability to translate complex data in clear insights and recommendations;
• A real team player who is great in building relationships with teams cross-functionally;
• Strong mindset to do better every day;
• Comfortable with process redesign and implementation;
• As a bonus: Power BI knowledge and experience with Microsoft D365;
• Bringing an enthusiastic and result driven mentality where you want to help the organization and yourself to the next level.
