Job Role: Storage and issue of Direct & indirect consumable

Ordering of indirect consumables.

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial engineering/ Automobile engineering

Job Responsibilities

• Procurement and storage of Indirect consumables
• Material receiving and issue as per production plan.
• Regular updates to management for inventory levels & perpetual inventory of consumables.
• Monitoring production process to meet the timely completion of requirement within budget.
• Ensuring requisite availability of tools, jigs & Engine related OE parts.
• Compliance of material planning and procurement rules, considering Environmental compliances as well.
• Negotiation with suppliers to secure advantageous terms for indirect consumables
• Receipt and approval of parts and services as per purchase terms
• Performing risk assessment on potential contracts with suppliers.
• Preparing budget: Revenue and Capital

Functional/Technical:

• Hands on Production & Procurement experience
• Material Layout planning & FIFO knowledge
• Process Skills: Material handling while receiving and issuing.
• Knowledge of material requirement planning and related software's (Oracle, SAP, proficient in MS-office).
