Job Summary
The Change Control Owner oversee and manage changes within an organization's systems, processes, and infrastructure. Change Control Owner will be responsible for ensuring that all changes are properly evaluated, approved, implemented, and documented to minimize disruptions & aligns with business needs.
Responsibilities
5-7 years of experience in Change management, Change control owner.
Responsible for the entire change management process & its improvement.
Develop and implement change management policies, procedures, and processes in alignment with industry best practices and business objectives.
Assess requested changes from stakeholder processes in accordance with Change Management policy.
Coordinate and prepare change control documentation that assesses and defines the scope, impact, risk, and regulatory impact associated with the change.
Prioritize change requests according to their strategic importance and potential impact on existing projects.
The Change Owner follows the change from beginning to end, involvement from analysts and specialists as needed to complete the project.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute change implementation activities.
Review and assess proposed changes to determine potential impacts on systems, processes, and stakeholders.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to evaluate change requests, assess risks, and obtain necessary approvals.
Presents proposed changes to the CAB [Change Advisory Board]
Plan and coordinate the implementation of approved changes, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication.
Maintain trackers/accurate records of all change requests, approvals, implementation activities, and outcomes.
Prepare regular reports and metrics on change management performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and compliance with change management policies.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of changes and identify areas for improvement.
Communicate change management policies, procedures, and updates to relevant stakeholders, ensuring awareness and adherence.
Establish positive relationships with stakeholders and encourage collaboration and support for change initiatives.
Monitor the progress of change implementation activities, escalate issues as needed, and ensure timely completion.
Skill Requirements
Proven experience in change management & project management.
Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Certification in change management (e.g., ITIL Change Management) is a plus.
