Your mission

Join us as the Director of Product (m/f/x) to lead our core accounting product that sits right at the intersection of B2C and B2B.

Your mission: Guiding your teams so that they craft a seamless, user-friendly experience for small businesses, empowering them to effortlessly manage their daily accounting needs. You'll collaborate with other Product areas such as Growth and Tax Advisors, driving product-market fit and advancing our vision. Tasks

Here's how you'll make an impact:

• You create a deep understanding of the needs and motivations of our (future) customers and translate it into actionable strategic insights.
• Together with your counterparts in Engineering and Design, you are responsible for the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution within your product area.
• You develop your team of multiple Product Managers (m/f/x), support them as a mentor, and empower them to grow together.
• You drive cross-functional collaboration within sevDesk and regularly align with relevant stakeholders throughout the company.
• You contribute to the further development of product management at sevDesk and ensure a focus on results, strong cohesion, transparency, and efficient workflows.
  
  
  

Requirements

Your Qualification:

• You have at least 7 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years of leadership experience of product teams.
• Your focus is on strategic product development across all phases up to implementation.
• You have a deep understanding of product strategy, product management methods, and economic contexts, as well as a high affinity for data.
• You see yourself as an enabler of the team. People you've worked with describe you as an inspiring leader.
• With your outstanding communication skills, you simplify complex matters, convince teams, management, and stakeholders, and keep them always informed.
• You feel comfortable in a dynamic, rapidly growing environment, but you also know when to take a step back.
• You have fluent German and English skills (C1 level) in both spoken and written form.
