Job Overview:

Responsible of the brand strategy & P&L for Remy Martin, LOUIS XIII, and Maison Psyche in the Americas. Lead & manage the marketing, communications & trade marketing teams.. Develop & implement commercial & communication strategies that are relevant for the target clients and build the brand equity.

Job Responsibilities

The Brand:

Develop and create excitement, desire, passion and demand for the brand while elevating the brands cultural relevancy

Partner with Global team and Senior Management to determine, create and implement correct strategy of the brand and ensure alignment with regional needs

Primary contributor of Americas marketing planning including Annual Marketing Plan, best practice standards, budgeting, metrics and reporting

Partner with Sales to execute all marketing activities to ensure on-brand positioning, awareness and tools

Retail And Sales

Implement marketing communication, ensure clear and powerful messages about Rémy Martin products, brand and value proposition to each market segment

Formulate and recommend plans and activities to expand market share in existing markets and capture new markets

Demonstrate transversal vision to leverage Rémy Martin opportunities with rest of RC Americas portfolio

Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets

Partner with SVP Sales and appropriate functional sales teams to ensure all marketing goals, campaigns and strategies are perfectly aligned & executed

Define, coordinate and implement demand creation, lead generation, lead-tracking and management processes

Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results

Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis

Multiple channel selling strategies for both On and Off Premise Programming

Coordinate communication between all internal and external stake holders

Assure market intelligence is received for analysis in a timely fashion to capitalize on current market conditions

Manage market research/consumer insights director across portfolio

Media and Communication

Develop and execute a multi-year 360 brand/digital strategy utilizing consumer trends, insights and market research

Manage all media spends and develop fully integrated PR plan to support all brand platforms

Develop a deep, insightful understanding of the Company’s products, consumers, partners and competitors

Implement marketing communication, ensure clear and powerful messages about Rémy Martin products, brand and value proposition to each market segment

Effectively utilize digital marketing to segment and target consumers with relevant messaging at the right time, in the right locations and on the right device

Measure and analyze marketing performance and take action based on the outcomes

Build processes, tools and frameworks to measure the measurable and interpret the subjective, identify what is or is not working and adapt based on the insights

Brand Events

Represent the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events

Review and implement Client Experience action plans using new and existing Rémy Martin platforms both in the US and internationally

Third party education (ie: Bartenders / Wholesalers)

People Management

Responsible for overseeing and managing the cohesiveness of the Rémy Martin team with the expectation of each individual working interdependently and corporately to meet the needs of our consumer and achieve KPI’s

Develop and actively invest into relationships with Global teams, Sales, Sales Trainer, Business Intelligence, HR, Finance, Information Systems and Legal teams

Build and maintain quality relationships with wholesalers and distributors throughout the US and Americas markets

Manage external agencies and relationships with marketing services

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with industry thought-leaders, marketing associations, advisors and other luxury organizations such as Luxury Education Foundation

Profile

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7-10 of marketing and/or sales experience in luxury goods or CPG, with at least 7 years leadership experience managing, motivating and providing professional development to a team of direct reports
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, MBA preferred.
  • A High profile immaculately presented business leader, a self-motivated, independent thinker, who has a creative, high energy, success-orientated, charismatic personality
  • Advanced communication, proven experience in building strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated record in building well known luxury brands
  • Strong experience in P&L management and P&L impacting decision making
