Speech Therapist Assistant - Remote | WFH

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for an opportunity near Saratoga, CA. This position involves providing speech and language services to students in a virtual setting, collaborating closely with a dynamic team of educators and therapists.

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.

Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans and goals.

Deliver speech therapy sessions addressing articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students' speech and language development.

Monitor and document student progress through data collection and analysis.

Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal development.

Provide guidance and support to paraprofessionals and team members.

Stay updated with best practices and research in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.

California state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant.

ASHA certification.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to thrive in a remote/virtual work environment.

Familiarity with laws and regulations in special education.
