Looking for a Software Verification Engineer for verifying software in medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements.
Design, implement, and execute test plans and procedures to identify software defects.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Design: Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts based on software requirements. Ensure coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
Documentation and Reporting: Document test results and defects. Maintain test reports and compliance documentation. Communicate outcomes to development teams and management.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers and systems engineers to understand software requirements and functionality.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure testing complies with FDA, ISO 13485, and IEC 62304 standards. Stay updated with industry best practices.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 5 years in software testing, preferably in medical devices.
Experience with testing tools (e.g., ClearQuest, Jama) and familiarity with regulatory standards.
Skills And Competencies
Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail.
