Our client is actively seeking a Sr. Inspector/ Inspector with over 5 years of experience for various infrastructure projects in New Jersey. This individual must have strong infrastructure, bridge, highway and/ or pavement construction inspection experience with local agencies in NJ, such as NJDOT, NJTA, NJ Transit, NYNJPA and/or DRPA. The candidate is expected to work on business development, proposal writing, and other marketing tasks as needed.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviewing design and bidding documents.
Construction Inspection and Supervision of Bridge/Highway/Infra Contractors according to the Contract Documents and State Specifications.
Supervising construction progress and scheduling.
Review plans, shop drawings, field measurements, daily quantities and construction safety.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline and 5 years of related experience in similar project environments or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Relevant agency experience
NICET II/ III/ IV.
Knowledge and experience in performing construction inspection activities on highway bridge-related projects, construction site safety standards and agency procedures.
TCC, NJSAT, ACI Grade I, ACI-CCTC, NACE, SSPC Certs are highly desirable.
