SAP MDG consultant - Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the upgrade process from SAP MDG 1909 to 2023, with a preference for candidates experienced in upgrading to 2023 but at least to 2022.
• Implement MDQ (Master Data Quality Management), a new feature/plugin introduced in SAP MDG 2023.
• Heavy configuration work in SAP MDG, ensuring the system aligns with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Act as a problem solver, addressing any issues that arise during the upgrade process and finding effective solutions.
• Foster strong team chemistry, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment where knowledge sharing and learning are encouraged.
• Interact with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates on the upgrade process, and ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in SAP MDG and Fiori, with a focus on configuration and implementation.
• Familiarity with Business Partner, Material, and Finance/GL modules is a plus.
• Previous experience leading or participating in SAP MDG upgrades, preferably to version 2023.
• In-depth knowledge of MDQ (Master Data Quality Management) and its implementation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Willingness to share knowledge, learn from others, and contribute to a positive team culture.
