Role: ETL developer
Location: Onsite - Chicago, IL
Terms: Contract
Description
Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using Ab Initio technologies to meet business requirements and ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and maintain ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources such as databases, flat files, and APIs.
Perform data profiling, validation, and cleansing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
Optimize and tune ETL processes for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, data quality, and performance bottlenecks.
Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and data lineage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integration initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data integration, ETL tools, and data warehousing.
Participate in code reviews, peer mentoring, and knowledge sharing activities to enhance team capabilities and productivity.
