The Embryologist position at Pinnacle will allow you to engage with patients throughout their journey while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.

We are seeking a  Embryologist to join our dedicated team at Reproductive Gynecology & Infertility in Akron, OH. This is a full-time position working Monday- Friday 7:00am-4:00pm with required weekend and holiday rotation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform all laboratory procedures related to the culture, selection, and manipulation of human embryos, including gamete handling, insemination, embryo culture, embryo grading, and cryopreservation.
  • Monitor laboratory conditions and equipment to ensure an optimal environment for embryo development.
  • Work collaboratively with our medical team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients undergoing assisted reproductive technology (ART).
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory procedures and patient information.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities, including proficiency testing, equipment maintenance, and laboratory inspections.
  • Participate in research and development activities to improve laboratory protocols and outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in ART and reproductive biology.
  • Assist with the training and supervision of laboratory staff and students as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:  
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in reproductive biology, embryology, or a related field.
  • Experience in a clinical embryology laboratory setting.
  • Strong knowledge of embryology laboratory techniques, procedures, and regulations.
  • Excellent laboratory skills, including proficiency in  and cryopreservation techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong commitment to patient care, privacy, and confidentiality.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Salary Range: $71,500 - $120,000 per year

The salary range for this position is between $71,500 and $120,000 per year. Final salary offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental, life, and vision insurance. Other benefits include generous paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, and a retirement savings program. Further details regarding salary and benefits will be provided during the interview process.
