We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to supervise the clinical operations of all nursing floors in the absence of the Nurse Manager and/or Director of Nursing. This role involves assuming administrative responsibilities for the Center in the absence of executive administrative personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership and be flexible to work at both our Roslindale and Dedham sites. This position offers a competitive pay range of $50-60/hr and the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Ensure appropriate nursing care through clinical rounds and support charge nurses in medical interventions
Maintain safety and security measures for patients, visitors, and staff, and address crisis situations as necessary
Oversee family matters requiring immediate attention and manage compliance with nursing standards, policies, and procedures
Adjust staffing and scheduling to meet immediate needs and communicate concerns to Nurse Manager/Director of Nursing
Serve as a resource for staff development, collaborate with Nurse Manager/Director of Nursing on clinical issues, and maintain collaborative relationships with support staff
Monitor supply and equipment use for budget compliance, conduct educational programs, and support Quality Improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Active MA RN license with a minimum of 2 years in a hospital setting or 3-5 years in long-term care
At least 5 years of leadership experience in roles such as charge nurse, supervisor, or staffing
Flexibility to work at both Roslindale and Dedham sites and the ability to educate and train staff
Strong competency in nursing skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personality types
Excellent communication skills and the ability to adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and objectives
