Summary
Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Clinical Coordination the Adjunct Clinical Faculty will support all aspects of the clinical settings. This role will have a primary responsibility of supporting the undergraduate nursing program, although support for any of the university programs may be provided with approval from the Clinical Director. Weekend and evening hours may be required.

Master's degree in nursing preferred, bachelor’s degree in nursing required (according to BORN policy) with 5 years clinical nursing experience required. Active Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Previous clinical instructor experience preferred.

Essential Functions
- Facilitation of the clinical learning experiences including pre-conference, clinical teaching, post-conference, and grading of assignments.
- Knowledge of and participation in developing the nursing curriculum.
- Evaluation of students’ clinical performance and ability to meet competencies of the program based on clinical objectives and program outcomes.
- Identifies and supports the needs of the students’ to provide a quality clinical learning experience.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:

- Computer Skills- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point, and Excel.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
- Effective time management and organization skills.
- Enthusiastic and passionate about working with students from a variety of backgrounds.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
- Able to work in team settings (e.g. with instructional course teams).
- Able to understand boundaries (with external agencies, institutions).
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Massachusetts RN.
- May spend extended periods at terminal, on telephone, or operating other office machines requiring eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity.
