Businessolver is growing and is looking to add a Business Analyst to our team.

The Gig:

  • Responsible for performing requirements gathering, functional, data analysis, and system design and configuration.
  • Leading discovery discussions and documenting with clients
  • Working with multiple projects and collaborating with diverse resources to meet timeline objectives.
  • Proficiency in recognizing and documenting data types, regulations, mapping, and conversion needs.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between clients, implementation teams, and stakeholders to meet project timeline goals.
  • Engaged in product enhancements for design and testing.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with IT (Information Technology) and Product Development teams to conduct system testing and validate bugs.
  • Become a subject-matter expertise and assistance with ACA rules, regulations, and deadlines to our internal and external clients
  • Maintain ACA system and instructional documentation for internal and external use.
  • Recognize and escalate deficiencies in implementation plans and identify schedule conflicts.
  • Engage in continuous business process standardization and re-engineering efforts.
  • Assume responsibility for the entire process from initial receipt of work to its resolution and closure.
  • Perform research and root cause analyses as ACA and compliance-related issues arise.
  • Supports in coordinating statistical data for analysis and research conducted by other departments.
  • Ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information and adherence to company guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to make the cut:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Systems, Finance, Accounting or related field of study preferred
  • 2 years’ experience with either HRIS, payroll, benefits, insurance, and/or carrier systems and processes required
    • Individuals with ACA regulatory knowledge is ideal.
  • Expertise with Excel strongly preferred including:
    • V LOOKUP
    • Pivot Tables
    • Concatenate Functions
  • Experience leveraging tools such as SQL, programming, Database experience, strongly preferred.

The pay range for this position is 57K to 71K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data).

This role is eligible to participate in the annual bonus incentive plan.
