Job Description

The department of Communication and Theatre invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in theatre beginning in the 2015-2016 academic year.

Responsibilities include teaching basic and advanced theatre-related courses (such as Acting, Directing, Introduction to Theatre, Voice and Movement, etc.) as well as courses in the general education core; directing at least one theatre production per year; serving as Artistic Director at some point in their career at CUC; plus other duties as assigned.

Candidates should have significant professional experience in directing and/or acting, as well as formal college teaching experience. They must be committed to excellence and have a terminal degree in theatre (MFA or PhD'ABD will be considered).

Successful candidates will be invited on campus for an interview.
