Financial Manager

Job Brief: We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Manager to join our team, leading FMCG company at Toluca Mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to support the company's growth strategy. The Financial Manager will play a key role in driving business decisions, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring the company's financial health.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business decisions. Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including monthly management accounts, quarterly financial statements, and annual budgets.
• Cost Management: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize profitability. Develop and maintain cost models to support pricing decisions.
• Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities and provide recommendations to senior management
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange, commodity price, and supply chain risks
• Financial Governance: Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Team Management: Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's objectives are met
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations teams
• External Partnerships: Liaise with external partners, including auditors, banks, and suppliers

Requirements and Skills:

• 8 years of experience in financial management roles, preferably in the FMCG industry
• 5 years of experience in leadership teams, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving business growth
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, including financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of finance professionals
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Experience with financial software, including ERP systems, financial planning tools, and data analytics platforms
• Knowledge of FMCG industry trends and regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or other advanced degree in a related field
• Experience with process improvement and implementation of financial systems
• Knowledge of supply chain finance and logistics
• Experience with international finance, including foreign exchange and commodity price risk management
