Regulatory Compliance Analyst

Within the Group Compliance function we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.

They will support the performance of Compliance activities related to the following regulatory areas: Solvency II (System of Governance), Italian Consolidated Law on Finance (TUF) including Related Party Transactions, Market Abuse, Antitrust, Sustainable finance regulations, IVASS regulations. The professional will be involved in analysis and advisory activity, performance of controls, internal procedures definition.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Perform on an ongoing basis regulatory monitoring activity, identifying new and upcoming regulations applicable to Assicurazioni Generali and the Group, identifying impacts on the processes and assessing adequacy of implementation activities.
• Define compliance controls on Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A.
• Advisory activity (regulatory analysis, compliance assessments).
• Engaging with Compliance colleagues in the Group to implement global compliance programs (training, community activities definition, coordination)

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Law degree
• Experience (academic/professional) in the insurance industry in the internal controls area; additional experience in a financial industry business area is a plus
• Knowledge of Italian and European insurance regulations
• Analysis and reporting skills
• Database management experience
• Curiosity and agility
