Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at the Mossville Technical Center. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and implementing efficient manufacturing solutions for engine assembly and disassembly processes. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, driving root cause analysis, and leading improvement projects. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative assembly processes for engines, adhering to strict quality standards.
- Provide technical expertise and solutions to assembly and disassembly challenges.
- Lead root cause analysis to identify and address production line issues.
- Manage and execute projects to improve manufacturing processes and Value Stream metrics.
- Procure materials related to manufacturing improvements from external suppliers.
- Respond to customer concerns and lead process improvements based on their feedback.
- Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement.
- Participate in standard work creation, tooling design, tooling orders, and Bill of Quality (BIQ) walk backs.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engine manufacturing or a related field (for non-degreed candidates)
- Prior experience with engine assembly and disassembly processes is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of Design principles (Creo experience a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
