Sr. Project Controls/Scheduler

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Sr. Project Controls/Scheduler opportunity in Oak Ridge, TN.

Job Description / Duties

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 along with supporting reporting tools (Excel, Power BI).
• Track project costs, analyze variances, and identify potential cost overruns.
• Create and maintain project budgets and forecasts.
• Generate reports using data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI preferred) to communicate project performance to stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies.
• Support the project team with contract administration and change order management.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems.
• Apply knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology and concepts to develop and maintain critic path logic networks; accumulate and access historical data for use in maintaining realistic future planning and forecasting.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field (or combination of technical training and related experience).
• 10-20 years of scheduling experience for construction and complex projects.
• Advanced working knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Prior DOE/NNSA project experience is a plus.
• Ability to complete work task with minimal supervision.
• Skilled at presenting schedule briefings to senior leaders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI a plus).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• U.S Citizenship required.
