IntePros is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for one of our client's, the leading health insurance provider in the Greater Philadelphia market place. This role will have onsite responsibilites in Philadelphia, PA.
Senior Network Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Network Management: Manage LAN/MAN/WAN, Firewall (VPN), Load Balancing Technology, Wireless Networking, and Cloud Networking. Document and maintain advanced troubleshooting techniques and capacity planning methods on systems, including diagrams, technical specifications, and operating manuals.
Process Improvement: Provide research and recommendations for continuous process improvement, including evaluating vendor proposals in line with procurement policies and procedures.
Project Participation: Work on medium to large complexity projects as a project team member, ensuring successful and timely completion.
Support and Maintenance: Perform duties of the Senior Network Engineer, including ongoing support and maintenance of existing applications.
Qualifications:
Education: BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience: 7 years of data network experience preferred.
Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Cisco Certified Network Associate, or equivalent hands-on and network design experience. F5-CSE certification is a plus.
Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Cisco Switching and Routing, F5 LTM/ASM, network security, and network management systems. Strong working knowledge of LAN/WAN/wireless/VoIP HW/SW technology network infrastructure, design, topology, protocols, and operating procedures.
Support: Requirement for off-hours support, including on-call duties. Minimal travel required.
