The Works Coordinator will ensure that all job packs received are checked, so work can be carried out with minimal delay to our clients. The job pack must undergo a validation check, to ensure that all Traffic Management, Civils and Cabling work is planned and organised within the agreed time scale, updating our client throughout the life spam of the job.
Work on job packs which have been loaded on the Kelly internal Database in order to review in detail and find any discrepancies or missing information, this includes Traffic Management, Civils or Cabling data.
Check Roadworks website, specialised street works software to establish if the road we are carrying works on is traffic sensitive or not.
Filling out civils orders for scheduling/noticing team to schedule works.
Ensure all updated information and correspondence with site and the client is uploaded to the Kelly’s data base and logged on Force.
Communicate with civils and cabling personnel in order to obtain further information required to progress a job.
Respond to telephone and email enquiries - prioritising emails that are urgent.
Liaise between the field, the client, and the customer
Update the client on progress of orders via Email, Telephone and Force
Chase the field managers, noticing and financing department for updates
Basic admin (updating the database, close orders, create orders etc)
Raise referrals if problems arise
Update escalations when required
Get update from site admin team regarding jobs in the queue
Contact Principal Support Engineers (PSE’s) with any issues e.g. customer access
Liaise with our clients to request additional costings for works.
Liaise with staff in other departments as and when required.
Escalate customer complaints to the Team Manager.
Able to provide solutions to problems.
Able to access databases to obtain information for the department.
Produce and maintain tracker excel spreadsheets.
Telephone and system support

Essential Knowledge
Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
Recognised academic training, such as working knowledge of pc systems & client liaison protocols and customer liaison
Good knowledge in Streetworks - Civils, Cabling and Traffic Management.
Experience in Telecoms (BT, Virgin Media, Vodafone etc), Engineering or call centre
