Principle Architect

Job Summary: The Principal Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a wide range of solutions. The primary focus of this position is choosing the right platform, developing the architectural framework, and providing technical guidance to cross-functional teams. As a leader, the Principal Architect plays a key role in driving adoption and ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of the infrastructure.

Essential Functions:

• Design architecture: Develop and maintain architectural frameworks, including infrastructure as code, security, network, storage, and computer components.
• Platform selection: Evaluate various platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and determine the best fit based on business requirements.
• Provide technical leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide technical guidance and support in implementing the solutions.
• Infrastructure management: Build and manage infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our systems.
• Lead migrations and integrations: Lead migration initiatives by assessing existing systems and designing migration plans, while ensuring seamless integration with on-premises solutions.
• Security and compliance: Implement security measures and adhere to privacy and compliance regulations, ensuring data protection and system integrity.
• Continuous improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends, evaluate new technologies, and drive continuous improvement of architectures and practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with business leaders, technical teams, and external partners to align strategy with business goals.
• Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, guidelines, and implementation plans for solutions and architecture.
• Training and mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to junior team members, helping them develop their expertise.

Education and/or Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree required, master’s degree preferred in Computer Science, or Information Technology
• Proven experience as a Principal Architect or a similar role.

The position will require the candidate to reside within 50 miles of our Denver location and must be able to commute to our office as needed. Annual Salary Range is $185,000 - $200,000 per year depending on experience. OTE $215,000 to $225,000. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs.
