Title: Remote Peoplesoft Financials Consultant Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support PeopleSoft Financials modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Purchasing, and Budgeting.
• Utilize expertise in PeopleSoft tools including PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Designer, and Query Manager to enhance financial systems.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within PeopleSoft Financials, ensuring alignment with financial business processes and accounting principles.
• Configure and customize PeopleSoft Financials modules to meet specific business needs, including upgrades, patches, and customizations.
• Develop and maintain integrations between PeopleSoft Financials and other systems such as HR and Supply Chain.
• Design and develop financial reports and dashboards to meet financial reporting requirements and regulatory compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and user adoption of PeopleSoft Financials solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, troubleshooting issues and ensuring system reliability.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Several years of experience implementing, configuring, and supporting PeopleSoft Financials modules.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft tools and technologies, with strong understanding of financial business processes and accounting principles.
• Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades, patches, and customizations.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management systems for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with integration points between PeopleSoft Financials and other systems.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Understanding of financial reporting requirements and regulatory compliance standards.
