Responsibilities: Assist Zoo’s Food Service Department primarily in River Camp Cafe Zone. Duties may include but are not limited to working a cash register, taking orders, expediting food orders, production of food, washing dishes, cleaning of assigned work area, and other tasks that a supervisor may assign to assist with customer service or cleanliness of the work location.
Qualifications: Prior food service experience with customer service and cash register handling is preferred. Must be able to take direction and also work independently when applicable. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule; hours will include immediate weekday, weekends, holidays and some evenings during summer months. Must have the physical ability to work on your feet and be able to walk the Zoo grounds and be okay with working outdoors. All successful candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal background check and drug test.
