The Ministry Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the Executive Pastor of Finance and Development, with particular focus on facilitating the efficient operation of VC’s stewardship ministry. This individual will coordinate administrative duties and office procedures, creating a high-quality work environment for all ministry members. The role requires a commitment to the values and mission of Vineyard Columbus, with a focus on excellence, authenticity, generosity, and serving the community.

What You’ll Do
Administrative Support
Provide administrative support to the Executive Pastor, including scheduling, correspondence, and project management
Manage communication between the Executive Pastor's office and other departments, external partners, and the congregation
Maintain confidentiality regarding all sensitive ministry-related information
Coordinate Weekly Operational Tactical Meetings (1x per week)
Support significant ministry project areas such as Annual Impact Report, Annual church survey, Congregational Meeting, Church Safety committees, and more
Support VC’s Stewardship Ministry planning and execution
Coordinate the logistics of stewardship ministry events and meetings, ensuring seamless execution
Assist in the development and monitoring of the stewardship ministry's budget and financial activities
Oversee the collection and analysis of stewardship data to report on ministry progress and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with ministry leaders to foster an environment of stewardship and generosity within the church community
What You Bring
Proven experience as an executive assistant or similar administrative role
Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with various levels of management and church members
Familiarity with the Vineyard's values and a strong desire to further the church's mission
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge
This is a part-time, 20-hour position.
