Purpose Of Job

The Marketing Development Analyst partners with the Marketing Development Manager to drive and execute key initiatives at a project level, solve complex problems, and provide analytical direction to the Marketing function and broader Commercial organization.

Job Components

Channel Growth

• Provide channel/customer segmentation and analysis to Commercial leadership, analyzing across volume, growth potential, and other key characteristics.
• Collaborate and assist Commercial leadership with executing channel strategies; provide performance management indicators on effectiveness.
• Manage and communicate actionable insights that enable commercial growth objectives developed through customer trend analysis, competitive intelligence, and industry research.
  
  

Marketing Development

• Partner with the Team through ad hoc analyses and studies to answer key commercial hypotheses or questions focused on growth (e.g. customer acquisition, capability gap analysis, etc.).
• Partner with the Team on developing and delivering compelling business cases/storylines to ensure the latest insights and market trends are understood and actioned.
• Identify, communicate, and lead enhancements for departmental processes to accelerate time-to-market (e.g. new product launch, etc.).
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or a related field required.
• 3 years in Marketing or Business Analytics
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and influence skills – able to formulate and deliver insights around complex business problems in a thoughtful and persuasive manner.
• Demonstrated problem-solving approach with the ability to apply logic and creative thinking to solve complex problems.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills translating data into actionable insights with a path to implementation.

Work Environment

• Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.
