United States Steel Corporation is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Plant Reliability Specialist. This position involves providing technical support to enhance the reliability of equipment assets and promoting knowledge transfer among operating units at the plant level.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of Maintenance Reliability strategies across Flat Roll manufacturing facilities.
Develop and execute improvement programs and projects within Maintenance and Reliability functions.
Offer technical expertise to ensure effective execution of Preventative/Predictive Programs and Maintenance Planning Processes.
Analyze system maintainability and reliability studies of equipment to enhance operational efficiency.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis in manufacturing environments and provide feedback to appropriate groups.
Identify operational delays and lead continuous improvement activities.
Prepare progress reports and develop effective PMs for equipment.
Provide guidance to support groups and ensure Business Plan objectives are met.
Collaborate with other facilities to maintain consistent practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a 4-year Technical Degree, or equivalent demonstrated knowledge in a maintenance environment is necessary.
Compensation will be based on the level of experience and qualifications.
