CDL Local Delivery Driver

Drivers are responsible for transporting and delivering products to designated customers. The Hill & Markes CDL A Shuttle Driver must be able to drive a truck with a capacity of more than 18,000 GVW, to transport materials to and from specified destinations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Drive Truck with a Capacity of more than 18,000 GVW, to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
• Delivers orders to customers and handles back haul of returned orders and damages as required.
• Check invoices on clipboards.
• Unloads truck and takes products and pallets to the receiving area or designated area.
• Obtains required information and payment if required.
• Interacts with customers and maintains proper appearance pursuant to Company Policy and Standards.
• Check in any returns with Supervisor.
• Obtains proper shipping documents needed for deliveries and loads necessary equipment onto truck.
• Inspect Truck, Complete Pre-Trip and Post-Trip checks.
• Checks oil and fluids.
• Fuels up truck as necessary.
• Ensure the truck is properly placarded at all times.
• Maintain the truck log according to state and federal regulations.
• Understands and adheres to Company's Safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One to Three Months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs and carry up to 50lbs.
• Ability to maintain a safe driving history.
• Must have a Current DOT Medical Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
