In the Install Electrician role, you will be working with the installation team in installing electrical service equipment, wiring, and electrical equipment for residential solar systems. We will rely on the experience of the Electrician to assist with inspecting electrical components, ensuring that the systems meet all electrical and building codes, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Competitive pay scale for this non-exempt position is slated to be $22 to $42 per hour, depending on experience, licensing and education (Pay scale is defined by the labor commissioner as the salary or hourly wage range that an employee reasonably expects to pay for the position)

Responsibilities
Ensure the work performed is compliant with quality standards as well as NEC articles and local codes
Adhere to basic OSHA safety standards
Be an essential team member of a four-person installation crew leading all parts of the electrical installation
Display the ability to install conduit and conductors in an efficient and aesthetic manner
Test and diagnose electrical issues associated with the system
Communicate effectively with customers, inspectors, and team members
Be capable of working on and around various ladders
Produce quality, code compliant installations in all weather conditions
Install, test, and diagnose grid tied, residential battery backup systems
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
2 years of prior electrical experience
Keen attention to detail and accuracy
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to interpret plan sets
Be well versed in residential wiring and related NEC articles
Advanced troubleshooting capabilities
Competent working safely from ladders and residential rooftops when needed
Ability to work in attics and similar confined spaces when needed
Advanced skills bending EMT conduit
Ability to safely operate all hand and power tools associated with electrical installation
Experience using multimeters
Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record according to company policy
Reliable transportation
Preferred Knowledge And Certifications
Local electrical apprenticeship registration
Completion of an electrical apprentice program and/or associated formal education
Experience and/or knowledge with residential solar installations
Experience and/or knowledge working with grid tied battery backup systems
Experience performing residential main panel upgrades
OSHA 10
Enphase experience/certifications
Wireman license is preferred
Journeyman license is highly preferred
Physical Requirements
Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring
Ability to withstand heights, climb ladders and be on roofs
Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding
Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Ability to work in all weather and climates
Ability to work in confined spaces, such as attics
Ability to travel up to 60%
