Your Role at YES:

As a Data Analyst, you will help our team interpret and analyze large data sets, write SQL queries, create ETLs, improve existing processes and documentation, and support the build-out of new systems and dashboarding tools. An ideal candidate is skilled at data analytics, dashboards, and data processing concepts and motivated to seek out and fix problems in a methodical way.


Duties & Responsibilities:

· Develop queries using SQL to aggregate and process large data sets across multiple data sources and create custom views and stored procedures

· Create and manage our ETLs across platforms: identify the correct data source, write queries, validate data, make modifications as needed

· Translate technical concepts to non-technical business users in a clear, concise manner

· Perform complex and detailed analyses using various data sources to provide insight to decision-makers

· Support the build-out of dashboards and data analysis with the FP&A team

· Maintain documentation of processes, procedures, and company metrics

· Performs other related duties as assigned


Required Skills/Abilities:

· Strong proficiency and experience with Microsoft SQL Server

· Proficiency with Python and/or PySpark scripting

· Firm grasp of advanced SQL aggregation functions, database performance concepts, and query optimization techniques

· Familiarity with FP&A software such as Tableau, Incorta, or other data analytics tools

· Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and DAX plus

· Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills

· Strong ability to independently identify and learn relevant tools, technologies, and processes quickly

· Self-motivated, fast learner capable of managing multiple and competing priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment


Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field (required)
