Exercise Development Support (MAGTF Intel) MCTOG with Security Clearance

The exercise development support MAGTF Intel position supports the Marine Corps Tactics and Operations Group (MCTOG) at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), Twentynine Palms CA. and provides exercise development support to MCTOG-led courses and exercises, as well as exercises in which MCTOG participates to include Mountain, Integrated and MAGTF warfighting exercises (MTX, MWX). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze, develop, validate, and document exercise design products for the training audience to meet current training objectives for service specific, joint, and combined exercises across the Range of Military Operations (ROMO).

Includes Geographically correct and reality‐based threat Electromagnetic (EM) and threads and injects to create catalysts that will exercise a unit’s information operations actions.

Includes Information Warfare (14 Information Related Capabilities (IRCs) e.g., Information Operations (IO); Civil Affairs (CA); Combat Camera (COMCAM); Military Information Support Operations (MISO); etc.). within exercise design.

Develop geographically specific, reality-based, Intel scenarios, threads, and injects for inclusion into Joint Master Scenario Events List (JMSEL) for MCTOG exercises/training events/wargames.

Generate realistic, challenging, and adaptive adversaries (threat emulation) as defined by current Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff instruction.

Research up to current TS/SCI level information on identified threat orders of battle, up to the combined arms level, and their associated tactics, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and intentions across the range of military operations.

Conduct exercises across Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) training environment. On Site MAGTFTC, Support required only during MAGTF Warfighting Exercise (MWX).

Knowledge of warfighting /staff functions from the company to Marine Expeditionary Brigade (MEB) level.

Create, review, and develop products to support intel collection and analysis across the Joint Force to include Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Army collections capabilities for a JTF Headquarters.

Submit key insights, lessons learned, and best practices to the Trends Reversal, Reinforcement Program manager via established formats and procedures following each exercise. EDUCATION

Career Level School At The Appropriate Level. EXPERIENCE

Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP) experience.

Experience writing Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) Steps 1-4.

Experience in all source intel analysis, and integration.

Develop collection plans at the Division or higher that integrate Joint collections capabilities.

Adversary collections capability, decision timelines, Find, Fix, Track, Target, Engage, Asses (F2T2EA) process, and authorities. CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at the Joint operational command level.

Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and/or SharePoint. Provides Intel exercise design expertise to all areas of the MCTOG program. WORKING CONDITIONS

Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and maintain focus. SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS

Occasional travel CONUS/OCONUS may be required. Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company’s auto insurance provider. SECURITY CLEARANCE

A Secret clearance is required for this position.
