Fanatics has an established database of over 100 million global sports fans; a global partner network with approximately 900 sports properties, including major national and international professional sports leagues, players associations, teams, colleges, college conferences and retail partners, 2,500 athletes and celebrities, and 200 exclusive athletes; and over 2,000 retail locations, including its Lids retail stores. Our more than 22,000 employees are committed to relentlessly enhancing the fan experience and delighting sports fans globally.

FHI employees are expected to be on-site 4-days per week. We also offer the unique benefit of allowing employees to temporarily working from anywhere up to 20 days per year.

Fanatics is a prominent and innovative organization in the sports and trading cards industry, dedicated to creating exceptional event experiences for collectors, fans, and enthusiasts. Our newest platform, Fanatics Events, provides a unique opportunity for attendees to engage with athletes, discover exclusive collectibles, and immerse themselves in the vibrant sports and trading cards community. As we continue to expand our event portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to join our team in NYC.

We’re looking for a creative thinker who possesses a blend of organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to join our sales team. The ideal candidate is someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves, get their hands dirty, and make a lasting impact on the success of our events. The candidate will play a pivotal role in facilitating sales to our league partners, hobby brands, streetwear brands, and other fandom brands. By working with the sales team to develop and then execute various packages, you’ll play an important part in building the Fanatics Events business. The role will require travel to various partners and events nationwide. While offering hybrid work options, this role requires a minimum of one day per week at our New York office.

What You'll Do

  • Support event production and operations by managing partnerships, vendors, and sponsors, both leading up to and during events.
  • Manage inventory for all events, tracking and organizing all data using Airtable.
  • Assist partners by coordinating logistics for each event, including booth placement and design, signage, promotional materials, and equipment.
  • Work with sales team to create pre-sale pitches for a range of clients including leagues, agencies & brands.
  • Maintain cleanliness of CRM systems by regularly updating leads, adding new leads to system and maintaining oversight over invoicing, payments, booth & table placement, etc.
  • Handle elements of post-sale communications to dealers and sponsors by building communication plans, handling inbound customer service, and working with operations team to manage fan-facing floor plan data.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in events, sales, communications, or a related field in the sports/collecting industry with demonstrable experience of marketing consumer products or event marketing.
  • Ability to contribute to event production and operations, being a point of contact on the ground during large scale events, providing guidance and assistance to partners and fans.
  • Excellent copywriting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically, adapt to changing circumstances, innovate, and problem solve.
  • A genuine passion for sports and the ability to translate that passion into digital and print marketing materials for our events.

The hourly range for this position is $27 - $35 per hour which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
