Engineering Field Specialist

The Musco Application Engineering Team is currently seeking a Engineering Field Specialist to work from our Oskaloosa office. This position will provide technical solutions to resolve field issues, report issues back, and help define new aiming logic to improve field performance. What You Will Do As a Engineering Field Specialist

• Have a higher level understanding of Musco products and lighting knowledge and willing to impart that knowledge on others.
• Actively provide training and mentoring to other Musco team members.
• Lead Fine Tunes and project commissioning in the field.
• Able to provide leadership in technical discussions with internal and external customers.
• Perform testing in the field and in office.
• Update and write lighting design standards
• Complete projects while in the office
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

What You Need To Be Successful

• Bachelors degree in engineering or a related technical degree is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3 years work experience in lighting. LC certification not required but preferred.
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
• Proficient computer skills
• Mechanical and electrical experience required
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple projects at a given time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills; ability to work well with internal and external team members
  
  

Other Special Requirements

• Up to 60% travel may be required
• Ability to work at heights
• Some night time work required
