Our client, a new luxury footwear brand, is seeking a Director of Sales & Business Development to join the team on a temp-to-perm basis.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth, achieve sales targets, and establish our market presence.
Identify and engage with potential wholesale partners for their account
Negotiate terms and conditions with wholesale partners to ensure mutual success and optimum sales performance
Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including sell-through rates, inventory levels, and promotional effectiveness, to evaluate the success of sales initiatives and identify areas of improvement.
Collaborate with internal teams such as design, production, and marketing to ensure alignment on merchandise strategies
Develop sales forecasts and budgets for wholesale accounts
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions to make proactive decisions
Requirements
5 years of experience in wholesale management in the fashion industry
Existing contact with all major US department stores, and stores footwear DMM’s / Senior Buyers. *Connection with international wholesale accounts is a plus
Experience with pricing
Experience with presenting a luxury/ fashion collection in showrooms and digital
Experience in collecting orders and submitting OC’s to clients and PO’s to the factory
